Trucker's German – Legal and privacy notice

© 2026 Dávid Kovács / Dagoca. All rights reserved.

The independently written example phrases, translations, chapter structure, learning exercises, dialogues and database selection/arrangement in Trucker's German may be protected by copyright. The material may be used for personal, non-commercial learning.

Without written permission, systematic or bulk copying, scraping/automated extraction, creating another database from the content, republication, redistribution, sale, or incorporation into another learning product or competing database is not permitted. Individual professional facts, ideas and common language expressions are not exclusive in themselves; protection of the specific wording and original selection/arrangement is separate from those facts and ideas.

Professional material lawfully supplied for development may be used as a topic map and gap-analysis source. The published learning material is intended to consist of independently written examples rather than verbatim reproduction of those sources.

Educational purpose and limitation of liability

This is a privately developed language-learning project. It is not official Swiss CZV training, GKI exam preparation, ADR training, first-aid training, technical advice, occupational-safety advice, legal advice or official guidance. It does not replace employer instructions or training by an authorised professional.

Laws, authority practice, technical requirements and transport rules can change. In real traffic, transport, customs, ADR, working-time, accident or technical situations, always follow current official sources, employer instructions and the directions of the competent authority or professional. Important Swiss primary sources include ASTRA, Fedlex, BAZG and the competent cantonal authorities.

No unlimited warranty is given for accuracy, completeness or continuing currency. Use is at your own responsibility. Any exclusion or limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory law; liability that cannot legally be excluded under Swiss law remains unaffected.

Privacy

Favorites, learning history, review dates and display preferences are generally stored locally in the browser storage of the device being used.

When speech practice is used, a short microphone recording is uploaded to a Dagoca server-side endpoint for transcription and may then be forwarded to the configured external speech-to-text provider. The purpose is solely to recognise and compare the spoken German text. The Dagoca application is not designed to retain audio recordings as a permanent archive. The external provider's own privacy terms may also apply.

Do not speak personal or sensitive information during speech practice. Privacy questions and data-subject requests: admin@dagoca.info.
